Journeys · demo background
PathCI surface — where people go inside one area, on one day.
The drill (individual stitched visits) opens from the bottom of this
page. This fold is for the presenter.
Talk track.
Walk-in is who came inside. This page is what they did at one
fixture wall: coverage first, then the day’s shape, then the one
merchandising lever, then per-fixture detail. The lid number is the
lever — everything else is context for it.
Claims.
REAL numbers: measured from the RB’s fountain camera, one full day
(Sat 18 Jul), shown on the demo store. A walk is the true
fixture-to-fixture order of one journey — not a model. Unlinked
means unresolved, never “didn’t go.” Every number is a count of
visits, never a store-wide rate. Dwell averages use a separate,
smaller denominator (128 resolved journeys) and say so where shown.
No person imagery, no dollars.
Build readiness.
Journey linkage and the journeys API are a shipped primitive
(internal audit view exists). The walk pre-aggregations on this page
are derivable client-side from the API’s per-journey timelines.
Not built: this page, the behavior classes, the drill as a tenant
surface.

Unlinked means unresolved — not “didn’t go.” Those tracks
fragmented past what identity linkage could stitch, so they never
became journeys. Every number below counts resolved journeys only.

The lever · fill without lid i
Only 24% of cup-fills stop for a lid. 165 filled and walked away without one — 148 of them never stopped anywhere else.

The 148 unlinked tracks never became journeys, so these shares can only move down if linkage improves — never up. This is the block an operator screenshots for a district manager.
